History

Frost started as a project of Aggie Peterson and DJ Rune Lindbæk. They released their debut album "Bedsit Theories" in 1998. The album was produced with assistance of Torbjørn Brundtland (half of the duo Röyksopp) among other people. The album did well in Norway and "Clouds Across the Moon" single (a cover of Rah Band song) was featured on MTV in Summer 1998.

Later on, the single "Endless Love" was released in 1999. The release contained remixes by Röyksopp and Illumination/Chilluminati duo – of which Per Martinsen, was at the time part of.

This is when Aggie and Per started working together and Rune departed from the band. The new line-up started working on new music. Frost have released new singles: 500 copies of limited edition "Pharmacy"/"Half-Whole" 7-inch single, which sold very quickly and it's now a very rare item, and "Amygdala" 12-inch double vinyl which was released with remixes by Atom(TM), Qwerty, Mind Over Midi and Per's techno alias Mental Overdrive. This led to release of the second album "Melodica" in 2001 which was met with positive response. It was produced with help from Röyksopp ("Running Boy", "Half-Whole") and Norwegian trumpeter Nils Petter Molvær ("Klong").[1]

Frost released their third album "Love! Revolution!" on March 26, 2007. It's the second album created by Aggie and Per. It was described by the duo as "upbeat space-pop". "Sleepwalker" and "One Hundred Years" have been released as singles to promote the album on self-founded label FrostWorld Recordings.[2]

Currently Aggie and Per are working in the studio recording new songs for their forthcoming album, due to be released in 2010.
